Sand Pad For House/Shed and Water Tanks Dwellingup-Pinjarra-Harvey-Bunbury

To build a house or extension the sand pad must be certified for building on, so the supplier of the sand is to certified the sand for building on.

Shed and water tanks sand pads only require clean sand without grass rubbish rocks etc.

For the sand pad for house or extensions

Once certified sand is laid, it will be compacted, a certificate is supplied by a geotechnical business once approved, this is required for your structural engineer can design your concrete slab footing etc. There are a lot of customers being caught out at present, unknown to themselves where the sand is supplied from. Customers hire a bobcat operator to level the sand then are told they require it to be certified. So then they have to find someone else to certify the sand pad. Which then becomes a issue as not many businesses will certify someone else’s job and if they do it will be for a price. If they are unable to find someone, then the council may require the whole job to be restarted again with the correct procedure, with certified sand, compaction and certificate.
